The Matheson Bay Cottage is located approximately one hour drive from Auckland and just two kilometres from the popular Leigh Township and renowned Goat Island Marine Reserve. It is also just a short coastal drive from the renowned Matakana vineyards and weekly farmers market. A short stroll will take you to the Matheson Bay beach. A sheltered and safe swimming beach.

The original cottage was built in the 1950's with a comprehensive redevelopment and modernisation completed in more recent years. Matheson Bay Cottage is surrounded by native bush offering privacy and tranquility to the residents.
